The Wellsville Creative Arts Center is offering a fun, exciting and
creative way for children to spend summer. Art Camp gives kids the opportunity
to have fun exploring the creative side of their personalities. Art
Camp offers a variety of choices including: Wheel-Throwing, Hand-Building
with Clay and Arts & Crafts. Each session is 3 hours a day for 2
days (Tuesday’s and Thursday’s).
Wheel-Throwing
In this 2 day session, children will learn the basics of the wheel from
wedging and centering to pulling and shaping the form. This is for children
with little to no experience who would like to have a lot of fun in
the mud. Dirty hands are a must!
Hand-Building with Clay
In this 2 day session, children will create beautiful clay castles and
cottages along with other fun clay projects. The kids will learn how
to allow their imagination to evolve into an amazing piece of artwork.
Arts and Crafts
In this 2 day session, children will experience a variety of arts and
crafts that are sure to be a good time: Candle Making, Drawing and Painting,
Rain Sticks and much much more. Guaranteed to be a great time!
