Create your own Thanksgiving Basket or Christmas gift. You will make a ceramic work of art while learning the basics of hand building with clay. Marsha will show you how to make ribbons of clay and weave them over a form to make the basket, then make and attach handles. This is a 4 hour workshop for anyone of any experience level. So bring the entire family and enjoy making a ceramic Easter Basket that will make a beautiful center piece or gift for the upcoming holiday.

• Baskets will remain at the Arts Center for drying and firing and will be available to take home by 11/25/08
• Our Coffee House will be open during a 1/2 hour lunch break

MARSHA VAN VLACK

Marsha has been a studio artist and potter for the last 30 years. Her works appear in both public and private collections. Marsha has taught in Mentor programs, Artists in Residenceies, and as a visiting artist throughout New York. She has won over 30 awards for her ceramic art and participated in countless art shows throughout the United States.
