Learn the basic fundamental skills of 2d woodcarving. Emphasis is on both hand carving, and mallet carving. Create functional and decor projects. No use of power tools.

Tools and Materials:
Payment for materials will take place on the first day of class. Please bring cash or a check in the amount of $48 for wood stock.

If you are taking this class, you must bring a set of carving gouges and a mallot. If you need to purchase them, or to see examples of what the appropriate tools look like, see links below. Please note, these are the recommended tools only. WCAC does not endorse Dick Blick.
