Dan has been a highly respected and in-demand instructor, session and
jingle guitarist and performer on the Chicago music scene for the past
16 years. Most recently, his roots-rock oriented work with The West
Side Winders has created a real "buzz" for this up and coming
world class musician.
The Workshop:
"Know your roots!!"
This is an interactive workshop so bring your guitar and amp! In this
90 minute workshop, Dan will review and analyze his patented "surfabilly"
style of electric guitar playing which has deep influences of rockabilly,
blues, surf, honky-tonk country, jazz and even hard rock/metal. Dan
will deconstruct riffs and solos from several songs by The West Side
Winders and display the various techniques used and where the ideas
came from. This is a DO NOT MISS workshop for fans of guitar that will
