BIOGRAPHY:

The Lo Blu Flame started in 1997 when Doug Yeomans moved to Buffalo from Nashville. The idea was to create a band to play original Roots music drawing from R&R, R&B, C&W, Bluegrass. The band has played clubs, concerts, private parties, community events and is one of the most respected bands in Western New York.

Lo Blu Flame has played shows with, The Band, Dave Mason, Junior Brown, Asleep at the Wheel, Robert Cray and many more. The lineup is: Doug Yeomans, Guitar and vocals Jim Ehinger, Organ and Piano Rob Lynch, Drums and Vocals Kyle Brock, Bass.

Doug Yeomans plays a hybrid style of Blues, Rock & Roll, Country and Bluegrass. He has played thousands of gigs and taught hundreds of students. His career has taken him from New York to California, with stays in Nashville, Toronto, and Austin with many other stops in-between. He plays concert stages, festivals, clubs, private functions, and studio dates as a Solo performer or with his R&R band Lo Blu Flame. He also leads his Bluegrass Band- Mountain Run. He gives guitar clinics where he shares his guitar talents with up and coming young players. Each year he shares his talents with thousands of school children as one half of The Stringmen with Geoff Perry. Passing on their love of music to the next generation.
